The snowfall made for some great winter fun! First time on a sled and tobagganing down the little hill. Ben kept saying "again! again!" What fun.

Ben likes to play peek a boo and hide and go seek. He loves to dance and sing and even though I can't sing, he's my biggest fan and will give me a big applause after my own rendition of "head and shoulders".

It was a beautiful weekend and we went to the wilderness park and saw lots of really cool animals. We had a blast.

Ben made daddy a great father's day t-shirt. Daddy wore it everyday.

It was nice to visit family if only for a brief time for the May long weekend. Here we are with Xavier. They are growing so fast.

We are all looking forward to the warm weather here in Halifax. Here is Benjamin enjoying a playground and just being outdoors.

We bought Ben a toy shopping cart which he loves to fill. He goes to the cuboard and picks things from the shelves (pretends to read the labels) and puts it into the cart. Then he found the Nutella and had to have it. He's actually quite tidy - he actually puts things away most of the time. Could it be a sign of OCD or are we just lucky?

Benjamin's new haircut

He was not that crazy about having his hair cut this time. But in the end they gave him a green lollypop and a balloon so he was happy.

Eating is a messy business!

Ben really enjoys being outdoors and fusses when DaDa or Basil goes out without him. He'll wait by the door and shouts out DaDa or Ba (for Basil). He really enjoys being outside with his new tri-cycle too.

Now that he's moving quite well, bath and bed time turns into a game of catch me if you can. It must be so liberating to get those diapers off.

Well, a year sure does go by fast. I am becoming such a big boy. Now that I can walk, I am keeping my mommy and daddy very busy.
